Dad, Gab and Me!

The last week of February I went home to Boise, Idaho to visit my sister for her birthday.  She had a list of things she wanted to do for her birthday and having our picture taken with our Dad was one of them.  What a great idea she had!  We didn't go anywhere fancy, but that didn't matter.  We had a great time and laughed alot.
I love my family in such a deep way.  We have weathered many storms and have come together in a way that only a family can.  I am thankful everyday for the blessing they are to me.  My Dad is an admirable man who has worked hard every single day of his life.  He has taught me to "never say die" and to always trust in my Savior.  My sister has shown me what the true meaning of courage is.  One of the trials she has been given in this life is a long term illness that there is no cure for.  Despite her circumstances she wakes every morning and continues to live her life with enthusiasm.   I love my Dad and my Sister and try to emulate all of their best qualities.  I am who I am today greatly due to the lessons I have learned at home.
Love you Dad and Gab!
